Lindsay graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Spanish. She received her law degree from Syracuse University College of Law in Syracuse, New York.
During law school, Lindsay was a member of the Syracuse Law Review and Moot Court Honor Society. She competed in national appellate advocacy competitions and won the Excellency in Advocacy Award given by the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
Lindsay currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Immigration and Nationality Law Committee of the Chicago Bar Association.
Lindsay serves on the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association–Chicago Chapter.
While in law school, Lindsay volunteered with the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office. She did internships with Cabrini Green Legal Aid Clinic in Chicago and with the Cook County District Attorney’s Office in Chicago. Lindsay currently volunteers with the Chicago Wills for Heroes program and the Coalition for Law-Related Education.
