Victoria graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in International Studies and Latin American Studies. She holds a M.S.W. from Loyola University Chicago Graduate School of Social Work, with a specialization in Children and Families. She received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, with a certificate in Child and Family law.
During law school and her graduate studies, Victoria interned as a court advocate at the domestic violence courts with Between Friends, and in mediation with the U.S. Department of Justice Community Relations Service. She has also interned at the Chancery Advice Desk with the Chicago Legal Clinic, as a student attorney with the Civitas ChildLaw Clinic, and as a graduate social work intern with the Bluhm Legal Clinic. Victoria was a Congress-Bundestag Youth Ambassador to Germany, and the recipient of the Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) Grant and Hispanic Lawyers Foundation Scholarship.
Victoria has volunteered with the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation (CAASE), and volunteered on the Board of Casa de Cultura Brasileira.
